Easy Fried Rice
Easy Fried Rice
Yield: 4-6 servings
An easy fried rice for those day's where something simple and tasty is ideal.
Ingredients
- ½ cup liquid amino’s
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tbsp garlic
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 tbsp butter
- ¼ liquid amino’s (or soy sauce)
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- ¼ honey
- ½ tsp ginger
- 2 tsp garlic
- 1 or two carrots diced fine
- one onion diced fine
- 1/2 to a cup frozen peas
- 1 medium onion diced
- 3-4 baby portebella mushrooms sliced
- one can of water chestnuts
- 2-3 radishes diced fine
- 1-2 eggs (optional, leave out if going vegan)
Instructions
- Make the rice ahead of time to have time to cool completely or use left over rice.
- Heat up butter in pan and add the cold rice. Fry until it has a little color then add in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and spices.
- Once that is mixed add in the veggies and cook until desired doneness.
Notes:
Like most recipes I always recommend tasting as you go for the spices.
If you want more protein you can add chicken or steak. Leave out the egg and it's vegan.
Just about any veggies you want can be added. We typically just use whatever we have in the fridge.
