The good, the bad, and the cannibal - wait I mean wizard. Maybe an unpopular take but I really enjoyed this film. There are some things that feel a little disconnected from the first two that are not just Mads Mikkelsen now playing Grindelwald but overall I had a great time. Mads was phenomenal but there was a lot of Hannibal vibes happening. Not a complaint but now I know what Hannibal would be like if he was a wizard. It’s been awhile but we finally have some new content for the next Fantastic Beasts film. And I’ll be honest, when they removed Johnny Depp as Grindelwald I wasn’t actually planning on continuing with it. But then the one actor was cast as Grindelwald that I can’t be upset about. Or rather the one actor that will get me to give this movie a chance. Mads Mikkelsen. I loved him in Hannibal, Casino Royale, and many of his Danish films. I still think Johnny Depp is the best choice for the role of Grindelwald, and I think it was a huge mistake to remove him. That being said I think Mads will still do a great job, despite my casting preferences. He is still a phenomenal actor.  

Now. The trailer. Aside from my issues with Grindelwald, I think it looks pretty great so far. So let’s dive right in.
